Membership Types
A brief description of our dues structure and membership classes
follows:
(Effective for 2012, subject to change)
Active Member: Any person who subscribes to the Code of Conduct, is a resident of Mississippi or Alabama
and is employed in the state of Mississippi or Alabama as a proprietor, partner or employee if a legally
established business selling photographic goods or services to the public, or from industrial photography, and
is not a member of another state photographic association, except as an out-of-state member.
Dues: $195.00
Silver Active Member: Includes all the rights and privileges of Active Membership
listed above but also includes registration fees to the PPMA’s Fall Seminar w/awards
dinner ticket and the Annual Convention w/banquet ticket.
Dues: $ 199.00 (199.00 rate Until 12-31-11, Not available after 1-31-12)
Associate Member: An employee or spouse of an Active Member.
Dues: $85.00
Student Member: One who is enrolled Full Time in a recognized College, school or institution.
Dues: $30
Out-of-State Member: One who is not a resident of Mississippi or Alabama, but who fulfills the
requirements for full membership and is a active member of his home association. Out of State members do not have voting rights. Proof of Business License and Sales Tax License required.
Dues: $195
Retired Member: Anyone retired from active professional photography.
Dues: $30
Sustaining Member: One who is engaged in the sale of goods or services to
the photographic profession. More information available by contacting below.

Requirements to be submitted for consideration for Active Members, Associates and Provisional Associates:
- Reference from an active member in good standing oh their letterhead.
- All appropriate blanks on the application form completed.
- Copies of Business License and State Department of Revenue Sales Tax License
- Signed PPMA Code of Ethics
- Payment of correct Annual Dues plus application fee
- Students must supply proof of Full Time status.
- Out-of-state members comply with items 2 and 4 and send copy of resident state membership card.
- Out-of-state members who are not members of their state assn please contact us for rates.
- New members must comply with items 1 2, 3, 4 and 5.
